LONDON - Beatles drummer Ringo Starr’s childhood home has been boarded up to stop fans ripping it apart.
According to the Sun, the house in Madryn Street, Liverpool, has had metal shutters fitted to it after several souvenir hunters started taking bricks from around the windows of the home.
The home, scheduled to be demolished, is the only house linked to an ex-Beatle that does not have a protected status.
“Fans from all over the world have objected to the demolition,” the Save Madryn Street Society has said. (ANI)
