MUMBAI - Singer Adnan Sami can continue to live at the luxurious Oberoi Garden flat at Andheri.
His former wife Sabah Galadhari, who filed a petition in the Bombay High Court against Sami entering the house and for taking possession of the flats, has been given a flat each at Ankita building in Lokhandwala and Oberoi Garden.
However, of the two flats allotted to Sabah, the lease of one flat has expired and the other flat is in a bad shape, said her advocate Edith Dey, reports the News.
Justice Dalvi refused to disturb the family court’s order, which had granted access to Sami and his new wife Roya Farabi.
Justice Dalvi has not stopped Sami and relatives from entering the flats on the 13th and 14th floors at Oberoi Garden, as Sabah sought in her petition.
Justice Dalvi has granted possession of the 12th floor flat at Oberoi Garden to Sabah, which her advocate said is not in habitable condition.
Also, she has been given possession of the flat at Ankita Apartments in Andheri, the lease of which has expired.
Counsel Mahesh Jethmalani and Dey Sabah, who represented Galadhari , said they would challenge the order in the division bench of the high court.(ANI)
