Russell Simmons apologizes to Courtney Love for his ‘crackhead’ jibe

NEW YORK - Media mogul Russell Simmons has said that he called Courtney Love all day to apologize for calling her a “crackhead.”
Simmons is reported to have made the comment about Love at his “Running Russell Simmons” launch party at Lavo, where he was asked about his thoughts regarding the nude photos that Love posted on Twitter.
However, Simmon regretted offending Love.
“My joke about Courtney Love was more about me than Courtney. She is a talented, sweet girl who, like me and everyone else, is in constant reform,” the New York Post quoted Simmons as saying.
“I’ve been calling her but haven’t been able to reach her yet. I hope she still considers me a friend,” he added. (ANI)
