Richard Armitage In ‘The Hobbits’

LOS ANGELES (GaeaTimes.com)- Finally the mystery and seemingly endless speculation over the much delayed project ‘The Hobbit’s is over. Peter Jackson has finally declared the cast for the movie that will be made in 2 parts in near future. The shooting for the 1st part of the movie will commence on in February 2011. The lead actors for this movie are Richard Armitage and Martin Freeman. Martin Freeman will play Bilbo Baggins in this film while Richard Armitage has been roped in for playing Thorin Oakenshield the mighty dwarf leader. The director is happy that the cast has been set and he expects that everything will work out just fine. He praised both the actors on Richard Armitage said that he among “the most exciting and dynamic actors working on screen today and we know he is going to make an amazing Thorin Oakenshield”.

The other actor who deserves a mention in this context apart from Richard Armitage is Aiden Turner. He has been selected to play the character of the elf King in the film. The cast definitely is interesting and it is expected that the director will make a loveable tale with it. The movie got delayed for a lot of reasons including the producer’s own troubles. The casting itself took a long time and so was the case for director.

Actor Richard Armitage has indeed bagged a plum role. The two parts of the movie will hit the theaters in 2012 and 2013 as it has been reported. This film is based on the popular tale of author J.R.R. Tolkien. The film’s location however remains to be decided.
