Badly Drawn Boy Suffered Writer’s Block With New Album

British singer BADLY DRAWN BOY suffered from bizarre writer’s block while working on his new album - builders banned the star from his kitchen where he usually pens songs.
The star, real name Damon Gough, has just released his first studio album in four years, It’s What I’m Thinking Pt.1 - Photographing Snowflakes.
The singer admits it took him so long to complete the record because he wasn’t allowed in his kitchen during lengthy renovations - and the room is where he normally gains inspiration for tracks.
He tells Britain’s Live From Studio Five, “I had a lot of work done on the house, particularly the kitchen. Like six to eight months of living around a kitchen, which was like a bomb site. We got a little hob from Ikea and set it up in the living room.
“That’s where I write, in the kitchen, so it really halted me for a bit, knocked me out of stride for a bit.”
