Prem By Chance Premiere: the inside story

September 29, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Actor Abir Chatterjee is still basking in the success of his last movie Byomkesh Bokshi and this Friday his new movie Prem By Chance premiered. The film stars Abir Chatterjee and Koel mallick in lead roles the cast includes other veteran actors like Manoj Mitra, Suman Banerjee, Locket Chatterjee, Tanima Bose, Dapankar De and others. After playing the role of the Bengal’s favorite smooth talking sleuth, Abir is back as the smart street ruffian and plays the role perfectly. The director duo of Sudeshna and Abhijit got a superb performance out of this actor.

The plot of this movie revolves around a hot headed guy Raju, who is kind of a robin hood of the locality and likes to live life at the edge. Raju has a nemesis in Sanu (played by Suman Chatterjee), who is the boyfriend of Purna (Koel). As luck would have it the duo fall in love but do not realize it until the end of the movie. The abir-koel chemistry was superb throughout the movie and managed to pull the heart strings of the crowd.

Koel mallick plays her role as a bubble chirpy girl to perfection as well. The supporting cast gave a well rounded performance and helped take the story forward. Unlike some latest movie releases there was not a single dull moment in Prem By Chance. Our heartiest congratulations to the cast and crew for their efforts.
