LOS ANGELES (Gaea Times.com) - The reality show “Sister Wives” premiered on TLC on Sunday at 8 pm. The reality show features a real life character Kody Brown who is a polygamist. The father of 13 children and the husband of three wives, the man has a perfectly peaceful life. There seems to be no issue in the family regarding the fact that their husband gets to sleep with other women as well. The show shows wife number four being brought in the family fold. Polygamy is banned is USA and the Utah family in the show might get in trouble for their polygamy practice.
The family though it seems has no worries right now with Kody Brown stating that he needed to bring his life before the people, out of the closet. He says that love should result in unity and love is the reason this guy is attributing to his lifestyle and an continuously expanding family. “Sister Wives” is the word that is used to describe this strange relationships scenario. The “sister wives” are shown to be living in perfect harmony and have no regrets in having chosen a polygamous life over a monogamous one.
The viewers are forced to wonder if Kody Brown is going to be as comfortable as his “Sister Wives” are if they were to announce that they are planning to bring ” Brother Husbands” in the family fold. The practice of polygamy though illegal is still prevalent in USA and Canada with many people being involved in a lawsuit because of this traditional practice not recognized by modern day society.
