Malayalam Script Writer Madhu Muttam Is Back With New Project

September 27, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Malayalam film script writer Madhu Muttam, who is famous for writing the script of the 1993 psychological thriller movie Manichitrathazu, is back with a new project in Mollywood.
The new project of this legendary script writer is titled Kaanakombathu, which will be directed by Mahadevan. Dr.Leela Prasannan will be producing the movie under the banner of C B creations.
Newcomers like Deepu Shanth (brother of Cricketer Sreeshanth), Vinod Krishnan and Shankar Narayanan will be playing the lead roles in this movie. However, the cast of film also includes some veteran actors like Salimkumar, K P A C Lalitha, Nedumudi Venu, Vettukili Prakash and Mani C Kaapan in important roles.
The cinematography will be done by Anandhakuttan and Vayalar Sharath will be writing the lyrics of the songs.
The veteran Madhu Muttam has not written any script that could not be a successful movie at the Box Office. The only movie, which could not do well in the last 14 years of the writer, was The Bharathan Effect, which starred Suresh Gopi, Geethu Mohandas, Biju Menon.
His wonderful script of Manichitrathazu, was later remade in many other Indian languages. Renowned Bollywood filmmaker Priyadarshan has remade into a Hindi film titled Bhool Bhulaiyaa.
