Ronnie Wood’s new album is all about girls

LONDON - Former Rolling Stone Ronnie Wood’s new solo album “I Feel Like Painting” is all about girls.
“The songs are all about girls, but which girls? They all get mixed up. All my life there’s always been an ex-wife or a girlfriend,” he said.
The 63-year-old guitarist has had a turbulent two years, in which he left his wife of 23 years Jo for teenage waitress Katia Ivanova, split from Katia, finalised his divorce from Jo, went into rehab twice and then started a relationship with Brazilian beauty Ana Araujo, 30.
Although the musician says his new album is about his lovers, he insists he doesn’t refer to specific relationships, as they all merge, reports contactmusic.com.
Despite the upheavals in his personal life, the now sober Ronnie says recording the album gave him an enormous sense of freedom.
“I was living with a young girl, all my kids had grown up and it was a powerful feeling of freedom. Dad was off to follow his destiny, whatever it may be,” he said.
