Mammootty To Work With Ranjith Again!

September 25, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Malayalam film megastar Mammootty has again joined hands with the reputed director and screenwriter Ranjith for his next movie.

The director’s recent release Pranchiyettan and the Saint also starred Mammootty and the film received critical acclaims. However, this time Ranjith is not the director of the new movie but will only pen down the script. Director G S Vijayan, who has remained far from the industry for some time, will be directing this new flick.

Ranjith will be associated with this film also as a producer as it is being produced under his banner called ‘Capitol Theatre’.

Mammootty has earlier worked under the direction of Ranjith in the films like

Kerala Cafe, Paleri Manikyam: Oru Pathira Kolapathakathinte Katha, Kaiyoppu, Prajapathi and Black.

Ranjith is also enjoying the critical acclaims he is receiving for his recent films like Kerala Café, Palery Manickyam and Pranchiyettan. The veteran has also decided not to return to the spicy movies again that was the base of success of most of his movies earlier.

Ranjith has been successful as script writer also as he penned the script of most of the movies directed by him. The recently released Pranchiyettan and the Saint also has script by him. So, the latest venture with Mammootty could be the next hit with their pairing!
