LONDON - ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ star Susan Boyle was recently rescued by a young mom, after she spotted the singer choking on a Pineapple tart.
Quick-thinking Lisanne Scott, 27, saved superstar SuBo, 49, with a series of hefty thumps on the back as the singer was braving for breath in her local Asda store.
“Susan was gasping for breath, so I ran over to help her,” the Sun quoted the mother of three as saying.
“She was just walking round the store, carrying a basket and looking at the shelves. I recognised her right away but thought nothing of it. She was just an ordinary shopper,” she added.
However, within minutes Lisanne heard the chart-topping singer shouting in distress that she couldn’t breathe and saw the singer clutching her throat.
“Subo was very upset and was gasping for breath. A woman was punching her on the back but it wasn’t hard enough. I left my shopping trolley and ran over to help. I gave her some hard thumps and that seemed to do the trick and clear her throat,” the mum added explaining the complete scenario.
“I was just glad to help her. She is a lovely singer and a nice lady,” Lissane concluded. (ANI)
