NEW YORK - Martin Scorsese was apparently unfazed when an actor started bleeding during the shooting of new HBO’ ‘Boardwalk Empire,’ it has emerged.

At the premiere of the new series at the Ziegfeld Theatre, Michael Pitt, who plays Jimmy Darmody said that during a fight scene he broke a “candy glass” stunt bottle over a guy’s head and “cut my hand all the way open.”

But, when “GoodFellas” filmmaker saw the blood he said, “That’s great! That’s great!” reports the New York Daily News.

Pitt told him that he has cut his hand but Scorsese was not concerned it seemed.

“And he said, ‘That’s pretty bad. Can you do it again?’ said Pitt.

They then reshot the scene 10 to 15 more times that day.

“But judging by the look on his face when he recounted the story, he loved every second,” added Pitt. (ANI)
