Anjana Basu is very choosy about her roles

During a recent interview the actor said that she gives her nod to those projects, which interests the actor inside her.

Anjana Basu plays the role of a college professor in Aniket Chattopadhyay’s upcoming movie ‘Bye Bye Bangkok’. She is well known in the industry as an actor who chooses her roles carefully. The actress said that recently a budding director named Abhishek had narrated the story of a short film to her and she really liked the lead role. However the director offered her another character that was equally important as the lead role and so she agreed to do the project.

The actor believes that she needs to bag good roles in order to prove her mettle as an actress. Speaking about her shooting schedule in Bangkok the actress said that she had a blast with her co-stars while filming Bangkok. The actress mentioned that she used to go on shopping sprees with her co-star Sonali Chaudhuri almost every day. The actress is optimistic that ‘Bye Bye Bangkok’ will do great at the box office.
