LONDON - ‘Resident Evil’ actress Milla Jovovich says she felt “super cool” working with Robert De Niro because she get to call him Bob like few people.
The actress revealed her excitement as she sat next to the acting legend at an official press conference for their new movie ‘Stone’, at the Toronto International Film Festival.
“Robert asked me to call him Bob which I thought was awesome,” the Mirror quoted her as saying.
“I was like, ‘Yes, I’m one of the few people that get to call Mr De Niro Bob,’ so I feel super cool,” she said.
In ‘Stone’, De Niro plays a hardened parole officer who is confronted by the young wife (Milla) of convicted arsonist Gerald Creeson (Edward Norton) during a parole review.
“I think he was a little intimidated by me,” she said about her first meeting with De Niro.
And the actress revealed he had a profound effect on her acting.
“It was such an amazing experience to work in a way that is so organic and natural that it really doesn’t matter what a script says when somebody is trying to find something real and you’ve gotta help them do it,” she said.
“It was a great learning experience for me as an actress,” she added. (ANI)
