Penelope Cruz Pregnant: Expecting Her First Baby

Los Angeles (GaeaTimes.com) - Penelope Cruz, known to her friends as Pe, is expecting her first child with Javier Bardem. She got married to him two months ago in a secret marriage ceremony in the Bahamas. Bardem is also a Spanish actor. He was first seen together with Cruz in the Woody Allen film “Vicky Cristina Barcelona”, for which Cruz won the Oscar for best supporting actress in 2009. Bardem also won the Oscar for best supporting actor for his role in “No Country for Old Man”.
Now these two Oscar winning actors have confirmed the longstanding rumors that the actress is pregnant with her first baby. At first the rumors were not paid any heed by these two actors, but the speculation came to be true when Cruz was spotted with a growing belly on the set of “Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides” earlier this month. Now the news has come to front that Penelope is four-and-half-a-months pregnant.
Penelope Cruz Sanchez, born in April 28, 1974, is a Spanish actress and model. Being signed by an agent at the age of 15, she made her acting debut at 16 on T.V, and her feature film debut in Jamon, jamon(1992). Cruz became known worldwide for her lead roles in Vanilla Sky and Blow which were released in 2001. Along with sharing a Best Actress award at the 2006 Cannes Film Festival with five co-stars, she is also known for being nominated for the Golden Globe, the Screen Actors Guild Award, the BAFTA Award, and the Academy Award for Best Actress.
Cruz, the first Spanish actress in history to receive an Academy Award, is also known for charitable works. While working for the company Mango, she had donated both her time and money to charities. Apart from that, she had spent one week in India only for working with Mother Teresa and donated her salary to help the fund of Mother’s mission.
