Nanu Nannu Kanasu Celebrates 125 Days Of Screening In Bangalore

September 14, 2010 (Sampurn wire): Actor Prakash Raj’s directorial debut Kannada movie Naanu Nanna Kanasu has celebrated 125 days of its screening in Karnataka theaters this Sunday evening at the Bell Hotel in the city.
As a part of the celebration, a sapling was tucked next to the shield to remember that the dream should grow with everyone associated with this film. Apparently, the term ‘Kanasu’ itself means dream.
Prakash Raj is also acting in this movie and Amoolya plays his daughter ‘Kanasu’. The movie is a remake of the Tamil hit movie Abhiyum Naanum. The movie revolves around the relationship between a father and his daughter. The film starts when Uthappa (played by Prakash Raj) meets a young father Jayanth (played by Ramesh Arvind) in a park. After getting introduced with each other, Uthappa starts narrating the story of his life to Jayanth.
The actor-director had a short speech at the celebration event and said that he is touched by the affection of the audience even though he could not earn the invested money. Raj expressed his gratitude towards media for their support and requested the audience to not miss a good film like this. He said that he has the capacity to lose money but people should not miss good films for money.
The music director of the movie Hamsalekha said that the joint production of Naanu Nanna Kanasu, should make more films to earn the golden nest. The entire cast and crew of the movie except Amoolya, were present to accept the mementoes on this occasion. The mementoes were conferred to actress Sithara, Achyuth Kumar, Rajesh, Sihikahi Chandru, Ruthu and others.
