Harold Gould Passes Away at 86

Los Angeles (GaeaTimes.com) Harold Gould breathed his last on 11th September in Woodland Hills, California, USA at the age of 86 due to severe disease of prostrate cancer, according to Jaime Larkin, the spokesman for the motion picture. He will remain sweet, lovable and smart to his fans in their memories. Harold V. Goldstein, or Harold Gould earned his PhD from Cornell, where he met his future wife. After that he became a drama professor at University of California, Riverside. He and his wife Lea Vernon were married for nearly 60 years, had two sons and a daughter.
In the early ’60s, he appeared in episodes of such TV classics as The
Twilight Zone, The Untouchables, Get Smart, The Fugitive, Hogan’s Heroes, Columbo, The Love Boat and Gunsmoke. Some of his famous movies include The Sting which was released year 1973 in which he played the major role of a Con Man Kid Twist, an Oscar winner.
He has gone through many films throughout his career and in the previous fifty years of his life he had given all the time to his profession. His last performance was in the movie Nip/Tuck. He has a huge list of movies in which he appeared as a father, friends, son and many other characters that he had played during his career.
Harold Gould has also appeared in several television shows during his long career and the most famous of all the shows was The Mary Tyler Moore show. The American actor is best known for playing Martin Morgenstern in the 1970s situation comedy Rhoda and the Mary Tyler Moore Show. Some of his other films are Harper, Freaky Friday and Patch Adams.
