LOS ANGELES (GaeaTimes.com)- Political lobbyist Edwina Rogers made an appearance on the reality series ‘Real Housewives of DC’ and was seen making some controversial statements as well. In the latest episode of the reality show, Cat is seen meeting up the lobbyist for tea and the two are seen having a polite conversation about Cat’s upcoming book.
Edwina Rogers also talks about her present activities and says that she is working on a healthcare reform. To this, Cat makes a sarcastic response and says that a Republican lobbyist talking about healthcare reforms sounds like and ‘Oxymoron’. Making things even more interesting, Cat asks Edwina Rogers whether she would like to pay the $23,000 medical bills that she has piled up over the years in the US. Cat is also seen being vocal about her concerns for the state of healthcare in America. Cat also asks Edwina Rogers, who she voted for in the last elections and Edwina Rogers maintains her Republican stance and also goes on to say that Sarah Palin would have made a good vice president.
Cat’s digs at the Republicans continued throughout the conversation in spite of Edwina Rogers trying her best to avert the topic. Cat went on to say that the Republicans are a ‘dying breed’. In the end, Edwina Rogers invites Cat and her husband to the party which she is hosting in honor of the healthcare reform. Later in the episode we see Edwina Rogers being carried out of the party in a stretcher and later reports suggest that she was suffering from vertigo at the event.
