Valance Overwhelmed By Boyfriend’s Wealth

Australian singer/actress HOLLY VALANCE nearly dumped her billionaire boyfriend when she realised the extent of his wealth, because she struggled to “get used to” his lifestyle of “super-yachts and private jets”.

The former Neighbours star is in a relationship with British property tycoon Nick Candy and was shocked to learn about his vast personal fortune when they first started dating last year (09).

Valance admits she was so overwhelmed by Candy’s luxurious lifestyle she almost ended the relationship, but now the Kiss Kiss hitmaker is smitten with the entrepreneur.

She tells Britain’s Daily Mail, “The wealth and the lifestyle were overwhelming initially. I was used to razzle dazzle and meeting lots of famous people, but I wasn’t used to super-yachts and private jets. It was like: ‘Wow!’

“I am a spoilt brat. My friends and my sister say: ‘I hate you!’ when I show them what he’s bought me… (When we first started dating) I rang my mum and said: ‘I don’t think I can do this because it’s just too much.’ And she said: ‘You can’t hold that against the man. He’s a hard-working genius and he’s got as much right as anyone else to love and be loved. So you just stop looking at his bespoke chandelier and his gorgeous car and start focusing on him’. She was right, of course…

“I’ve got such a disgusting, wide, smug grin on my face all the time that my friends just want to slap me. I’ve never been so happy.”
