The producer invested Rs 2 lakhs to set up an ant hill, Snake god resembling blocks, pillars and another set for ‘Girija Kalyana’. This was done to give a nativity feel to the cinema.
The director shot a song on Naga Panchami, which was in dance drama format. He will shoot for 10 more days in Kukke Subramanya, Ghati Subramanya and other places.
Actress Shruthi, who plays the lead role in the movie, has no faith in superstitions. Actor Shivakumar is coming back with this movie after a gap of two years. Among the 75 films by the director Om Sai Prakash, Shivakumar acted in more than 15 of them.
This devotional movie has cast Shruthi and Ramkumar as an ordinary couple on screen. The movie also has actors like Tenis Krishna, Baby Kriti and others in the supporting roles.
