Cheryl Hines And Paul Young Parting Ways

LOS ANGELES (GaeaTimes.com)- “Curb Your Enthusiasm” actress Cheryl Hines has split with her husband Paul Young after eight years of marriage. The couple filed papers for their divorce on July 20, 2010. The couple married on 2002 and together have a six year old daughter Catherine Rose. However, the cause of the divorce is still unknown.

Cheryl Hines will reportedly share the custody of her daughter Catherine Rose with her husband. The representative of the actress has reported to a reputed media source that the couple are parting in an amicable way and there is no bad feelings within the family. The representative also added that Cheryl Hines and Paul Young will remain extremely “close” friends and will raise their daughter together. However, recently a gossip magazine cited the reason for the divorce as “irreconcilable differences”.

Cheryl Hines met Paul Young in the early 2000s when she was a part of Groundlings group in Los Angeles. Paul Young was the chairman of the Groundlings Board of Directors. Paul Young presently owns the management and production company Principato-Young. Other than acting Cheryl Hines is also making a name for herself as a director. The actress went behind the camera to direct Meg Ryan in “Serious Moonlight” on 2009. Recently reports suggested that the actress looked normal and without any signs of grief. She was reportedly seen partying in Emmy Awards kick off party in West Hollywood. Last month it was announced that Cheryl Hines would be joining the cast of new “The Fairly Oddparents” in which she will provide the voice of Wanda, one of the movie’s main characters. She is well known for her role in “Curb Your Enthusiasm” where she played the role of Larry David’s ex wife. The show is expected back on HBO for a new season in 2011.
