Mixed response for Mankatha teaser

August 23, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): The diehard buffs of Ajith Kumar fans thronged into all theatres screening Karthi starrer Naan Mahaan Alla. It was incisively for the sake of ‘Mankatha’ teaser that was reported to be screened along with the film. But the fans were disappointed that the teaser wasn’t gratifying due to the shorter duration of 35secs.
Many fans openly conveyed the message to Venkat Prabhu on twitter that they were disappointed. Of course, the fans were literally fed up watching Ajith Kumar in blazers, Ray Ban glasses with gun in his hand. The complete teaser was about Ajith Kumar sipping his cup of hot coffee inside a dark room while hundreds of bullets break through the walls. Sooner, we hear a voice, Doe Veliya Vaada… Ennada Vilayaadura (Hey come out… What the hell are you playing in there?) for which Ajith Kumar replies Mangaatha Da and triggers out his bullet.
However, some of them have felt that the teaser is really stunning and appreciated the stylish cinematography of Sakthi Saravanan.
Venkat Prabhu has convinced his fans saying that it was just an informal teaser and trailer will be completely different and more grandeur. In fact, Ajith is reported to have more dialogues unlike his other films and will no more appear with the hackneyed costumes.
