America Ferrera bags top Latin acting award

LONDON - America Ferrera has bagged the award for Best TV actress at the annual Imagen Awards for her role in show ‘Ugly Betty.’
She was up-against Sofia Vergara and Selena Gomez for this category, reports the Daily Star.
Ferrera’s role as hapless Betty Suarez landed her the ceremony’s top trophy ahead of Modern Family star Vergara and Wizards of Waverly Place actress Gomez.
The hit fashion series was called off after four seasons earlier in 2010. (ANI)
