Ryan Murphy To Direct “The Normal Heart”?

LOS ANGELES (GaeaTimes.com)- Ryan Murphy, the director of “Eat, Pray, Love” is reportedly all set to direct a new movie sometime soon. The director in one of his interviews to a reputed media source said that he is taking charge of the big screen adaption of Larry Kramer’s “The Normal Heart”. However, the director has not revealed much details about his upcoming venture.

Ryan Murphy, in one of his recent interviews said that he is directing Larry Kramer’s play “The Normal Heart” and the film unit will shoot the movie from next year June. The “Glee” co director was excited to reveal that Mark Ruffalo has been cast as the hero of the movie and Ryan Murphy said that the actor is “beyond brilliant”. The director said that he is really excited to be directing him. Ryan Murphy was all in praises for the upcoming project and said that “The Normal Heart” has a beautiful script with an important story. The director seemed really geared up for the new project.

A reputed media source reported that Ryan Murphy is also thinking about other projects like film version of novel-turned-megahit-musical “Wicked”. However, the director has not confirmed anything yet. Mark Ruffalo has not confirmed anything about the movie but it in one of his interviews he talked about “The Normal Heart” saying that it is basically a story when the AIDS “outbreak” happened in New York and it was not taken seriously initially,however the actor mentioned that he would think to see someone who really changes the world by his commitment without losing himself as there is still a real power in that.
