500 Chiranjeevi Fans Donate Blood To Condemn Allegations

August 13, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Megastar Chiranjeevi has millions of fans, who can go to any extent for the welfare of the actor. Recently, over 500 fans of the star came out to donate blood in the ‘Chiranjeevi Blood Bank’ only to prove the allegation made on the bank wrong.
Earlier, several allegations were made on the working and management of Chiranjeevi Blood Bank. Telugu film producer Allu Arvind, who is also the trustee of the Chiranjeevi Charitable Trust, has asked the government authorities to come forward and inspect the functioning of the blood bank themselves. He also asked everyone having a doubt to come and check for themselves.
Rubbishing all the allegations, Arvind informed that the blood bank is working smoothly due to the regular support of the fans and others. He added that these wrong allegations were made for personal and political benefit.
Since 1998, the Chiranjeevi Blood Bank has been operating in the state. The Andhra Pradesh government awarded it on 2002 and 2003 as the ‘Best Voluntary Blood Bank’.
