Simon Cowell ‘using SEO firm to show people he’s actually good’
By ANIWednesday, August 11, 2010
NEW YORK - It looks like music mogul Simon Cowell is trying to show people he’s actually a good guy.
He may be trying to get Google to list positive stories first, it has been reported.
It is believed that Cowell is using a Search Engine Opitmization firm-or SEO-to insure that Google searches of his name are top-heavy with positive stories about him, reports The New York Daily News.
But Cowell’s U.K. spokeswoman Ann-Marie Thompson feels a conspiracy theory behind it.
On searching for Cowell on Google you have to wade through a good 20 pages of positive and innocuous links such as ‘Wayne Newton writes fan letter to Simon Cowell.’ (ANI)
