NEW YORK - Newly released police report has revealed that the Christmas confrontation actor Charlie Sheen had with his wife had started because of a song.

Sheen, 44, told Aspen police that wife Brooke Mueller called 911 on December 25 last year because she was “jealous” of him sharing a liking for astronomy and the song ‘Drops of Jupiter’ by the band Train with his daughter by another woman.

“You have a song you share with your daughter, but not one with me,” the New York Daily News quoted Sheen as saying in an interview with a responding officer about what Mueller allegedly said.

The alcohol-fuelled fight quickly escalated with Sheen admittedly snapping two pairs of Mueller’s designer glasses and “slapping” her hands and wrists.

Mueller on the other hand claims Sheen became enraged when she threatened to divorce him and seek full custody of the couple’s twin sons.

She said he grabbed her by the throat while straddling her on a bed and holding a 4-inch pocketknife to her throat, threatened her life.

“You better be in fear. If you tell anybody, I’ll kill you,” Mueller gave her account of what Sheen had said.

“I have ex-police I can hire who know how to get the job done and they won’t leave a trace,” he allegedly told her.

The report states Mueller had “obvious reddening around her throat” that appeared “consistent” with a strangulation attempt. (ANI)
