Taylor didn’t give me any dirty-looking pebbles, says Jemima Khan

LONDON - After British supermodel Naomi Campbell, the focus in the war crimes trial of former Liberian President Charles Taylor has now shifted to retired Pakistani cricketer Imran Khan’s ex wife Jemima Khan.
Jemima was a fellow guest, along with her then husband Imran, at a party hosted by Nelson Mandela at his presidential compound in Pretoria in September 1997.
A picture shows her standing in a group with Taylor, who is standing trial in the Hague for war crimes.
The photograph has, therefore, raised question whether Jemima had by any chance been offered any ‘dirty’ gems by Taylor at this starry event.
However, Jemima has said that Taylor didn’t give her any dirty-looking pebbles.
“No, Taylor didn’t give me any dirty-looking pebbles,” the Telegraph quoted her as saying.
“Unsurprising, given the pile of dirty laundry I was wearing in that postnatal pic,” she added. (ANI)
