Mary Hart To Leave “Entertainment Tonight”

LOS ANGELES (GaeaTimes.com)- Mary Hart, the host of syndicated gossip and entertainment show “Entertainment Tonight” has decided to leave the show after conclusion of its 30th season which premieres on September 13, 2010. The veteran host has been working for “Entertainment Tonight” since 1982 announced yesterday in one of her statements that she will no longer be a part of the show. Mary Hart has covered the entertainment stories for nearly three decades and the fans of the “Days Of Our Lives” actress was really upset to hear the news.

Mary Hart in her recent statement said that she did not know she would host “Entertainment Tonight” for 30 years as she only meant to be on the show for 3 years when she joined. The host now thinks that she has reached a point in her career and her work where she feels that she needs a change. Mary Hart also added in her statement to a reputed media source that there are many things she wanted to do in her life and she wishes to “get on” with them. The host of “Entertainment Tonight” said that it is a mixed feeling for her when she says “goodbye”, but she will leave with a sense of celebration.

Mary Hart recollected her past experiences when she gave an interview to a reputed media source and said that she had the privilege of spending 29 years doing what she loved and she felt that it does not happen with everyone. The President of CBS distribution said in one of his statement that Mary Hart has been a “fixture” in everyone’s life and the channel officials and the audience will miss him. The CBS president also added that the channel is looking forward to celebrate Mary Hart’s career in the exciting upcoming season to come.
