LONDON - Hollywood beauty Angelina Jolie will play Elizabeth Taylor in a film about the screen legend’s life, according to sources.

The film will be based on the book ‘Furious Love’ by Sam Kashner and Nancy Schoenberger.

According to a source close to director Mike Nichols, “Angelina just shaded it in his mind” and will now portray the icon, whose turbulent love life with Richard Burton made headlines in the Sixties and Seventies.

Russell Crowe, Clive Owen and Colin Farrell are among the favourites to play Burton, reports the Daily Express.

Jolie, 35, said that she would be ‘honoured’ to play Taylor.

She said: “I’m fascinated by her and the mystery and mystique that have always surrounded her. We haven’t got a script yet but as soon as we have something good enough we’ll make it.”(ANI)
