MELBOURNE - Pop singer Danielle Spencer and actor husband Russell Crowe have revealed that they try to keep their boys under control because they want them to be grounded.

“For us, it’s really important they have a sense of normality,” the Herald Sun quoted Spencer as saying.

“We want to make sure they have an appreciation for the privileges they have, but also not allow that to get out of control.

“They should be grounded and compassionate to others,” she said.

Crowe and Spencer have two children, Charlie, 6, and Tennyson, 4.

Spencer argued that the fame game is an illusion.

“I don’t buy into the fame thing a great deal. To me, it’s an abstract thing that’s out floating in the ether,” she said.

“Yes, (Crowe) is an actor and he’s well known, but the reality of our day doesn’t have to do anything with that,” she added. (ANI)
