30th July A Big Day For Malayalam Movie-Dom

July 30, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): July 30 is touted is the biggest Friday in the recent time period for the Malayalam film industry. A bunch of five small films are being released for the weekend ahead on this date. The movies are Avan, Ladies Only, Ramaravan, Taskara Lahala and Penn Pattanam.
Avan happens to be a musical action-thriller. The movie has popular singer Vijay Yesudas essaying the role of the hero. He is joined by action hero Bala. Vijay’s existence on the screen makes this film stand out of the rest.
The film is directed by Nandakumar Kavil. The movie also stars Jagathy, Devan, Anup Menon Riyas Khan, and Muktha.
Amongst the other releases, the flick Ramaravan, starring Suresh Gopi is based on the short story ‘Manomi’ written by Madhavikutty. The movie, being directed by Biju Vattappara, is expected to be an entertainer for the crowds.
