July 20, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Will Ramarajan score big in his second innings? This is a question that the entire town is asking. Versatile actor Ramarajan kept himself successful with almost all his films being labeled as blockbusters. Even after decades, his films stand out as special entertainers that remains the USP of Ramarajan.
Regrettably, the actor kept himself away from spotlight due to certain constraints and is now making his comeback with ‘Medhai’.
The film’s music release was recently held in Chennai as filmmaker Hari, actor Parthiban and Abhirami Ramanathan. Addressing the crowd during the occasion, V.C. Guhanathan mentioned that Ramarajan has been strictly following the paths of superstars MGR and Sivaji Ganeshan, since he is the only main league actor, who encourages the small time producers by acting in their films.
It’s remarkable how Ramarajan’s yesteryear films had overshadowed the films of Rajnikanth and Kamal Haasan in box office.
Let’s hope that Ramarajan makes a fantastic comeback with ‘Medhai’ and make it even bigger than before.
