Kalainyar Karunanidhi And Vijay To Launch The Music Of Kanimozhi

July 20, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): It was a couple of weeks back that we had the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi and Ilayathalapathy Vijay coming together for releasing the music of ‘Vamsam’. Now, it’s time for these two happening personalities to join hands once again for another special occasion.
This is all about the music release of ‘Kanimozhi’, this Thursday (July 22) at Anna Arivalayam. Veteran filmmaker K. Balachandar and Tamil Film Producers Council President Ramanarayanan will also grace the occasion.
The film ‘Kanimozhi’ is directed by debutant Sripathy Rangaswamy and is produced by T. Siva of Amma Creations in collaboration with Uniq Productions. Jai and Vijay Vasanth of Chennai 600028 fame have performed the lead roles while newcomer Shasan Padamsee stars opposite them as the female lead.
Satish Chakravarthy, once an associate of A.R. Rahman has scored music for the lyrics of Na. Muthukumar and Pa. Vijay. P. Chidambaram has handled the camera while Brinda Dinesh and Gayathri Raghuram have choreographed the songs.
The promotional designs have been done by EM and C with Johnson taking care of the publicity campaigns.
