LOS ANGELES (GaeaTimes.com)- The cast members of the MTV reality series “Jersey Shore” walked out of the sets of the show demanding a hefty deal, according to reports. The main characters of the show which includes JWoww, Ronnie, Sammi, Pauly D and Vinny, declined to continue shooting for the series on Sunday due to disagreement with the producers of “Jersey Shore” over pay packages. It has come to light that the cast of the MTV reality show is paid $10,000 for each episode, remuneration that isn’t keeping the cast happy anymore.

According to reports, Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino and Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi along with the rest of the housemates have demanded $30,000 for each episode. While reports are abuzz stating that Mike Sorrentino has already signed a renewed contract with the network which promises pay hike, the makers of MTV reality series are yet to issue any statement in this regard.
Meanwhile, rumors are also claiming that the decision of the “Jersey Shore” cast members to go on a strike might prove to be fatal for them as some of them might not return in the third season of the MTV reality series. However, a source is said to have revealed to the media that although at some point the creators were contemplating dumping some of the cast members, they have changed their mind now and the cast would remain unchanged for the third season of “Jersey Shore”.
