Mithun Chakraborty Shines In “Shukno Lanka”

KOLKATA, INDIA (GaeaTimes.com)- Sometimes it takes a lot to live the life of a common man than a celebrity. No one knows it better than Mithun Chakraborty who recalled his own days of struggle in Bollywood before he made it to the top. Mithun Chakraborty’s new movie “Sukhno Lanka” traces the story of a junior artist whose presence is neglected in the industry.
Mithun Chakraborty’s “Shukno Lanka” has the thespian actor as the protagonist who have lived an obscure life with no one to care for him. His dreams of becoming big in the film industry turns real when an award winning director offers him the lead role in his movie. Mithun Chakraborty further underlined the fact that “‘Shukno Lanka” is the “dream of a common man” and it’s not about the actor’s life. Dry Chilies is a perfect metaphor to a common man’s life which is tasteless but when added to other dishes makes it delicious. Speaking on the same note was director of the movie Gaurav Pandey who told the media that he is inspired by the lives of common men and wanted to portray the same in his movie.
Shukno Lanka’s total runtime is 80 minutes and has been released all over India. Besides Mithun Chakraborty the movie also stars Debashree Roy and Sabyasachi Chakraborty. Australian actress Emma Brown Garett adds grace to the already powerful cast of the movie. Emma Brown Garett told the media that it was a great experience working with Mithun Chakraborty, Sabyasachi Chakraborty and Debasree Roy. The Australian actress plays the role of Isabella who comes to India to make a movie. The actress who has been living in the country for the past two years acted in a Bengali movie for the very first time.
