Miss Arkansas 2010 Is Alyse Eady

HOT SPRINGS (GaeaTimes.com)- The much anticipated Miss Arkansas 2010 beauty pageant was organized at the Summit Arena in Hot Springs, Arkansas on Saturday night. Like every year, even this time around that the beauty competition turned to be a huge success with as many as 2,500 people turning up for the event to catch a glimpse of this year’s Miss Arkansas. 22-year-old Fort Smith resident Alyse Eady turned out to be the big winner of the last night’s beauty pageant who was crowned by the out-going beauty queen Sarah Slocum of Sheridan.
With her win during the gala event, Alyse Eady as Miss South Central Arkansas, was able to collect a scholarship worth $20,000 and in addition to it, she also took home gifts, awards as well as clothing that Miss Arkansas receives every year which is worth $50,000. Apart from these, with the victory Miss Arkansas 2010 would also be taking part in the Miss America beauty competition that is all set to take place in the month of January, 2011 in the Las Vegas. However, winning the Miss Arkansas title in itself is like a dream come true for any of the young participants as it provides them a platform to showcase their talent on a broader spectrum.
Meanwhile, in the Miss Arkansas 2010 beauty pageant, the first runner-up turned out to be Tulsa, Oklahoma resident Simone Mullinax as the Miss Lakes of the Northwest while the second runner-up was Hot Springs native Amy Crain as Miss Northwest Arkansas. The third runner-up position was registered by Stuttgart resident Kristen Glover as Miss Cotton Bell.
