“Lamhaa”: Bipasha Basu’s Trial

MUMBAI, INDIA (GaeaTimes.com)- Bipasha Basu is anxious about the fate of her latest movie “Lamhaa” which is releasing all over India today. The film has an impressive star cast with actors like Anupam Kher, Sanjay Dutt and the elusive hunk Kunal Kapoor playing the vital roles. The film directed by Rahul Dholakia was in the making for a long time but the director is sure that his film will be appreciated by the viewers. Though it is a thriller at the core of the film lies the sensitive issue of militancy and terrorism that has engulfed the beautiful valley of Kashmir.
‘Lamhaa‘ is the second film after “Corporate” in which actress Bipasha Basu plays an essentially de-glamorised role. She looks really different in the promos and her chemistry with actor Kunal Kapoor is also worth admiring. However, the actress is not sure how the movie will fare at the box office. “Kurbaan” which released last year did not do well commercially and that movie also had an identical theme. The actress said she is not bothering much about the aspect.
The actress said in an interview that she will feel good if the young viewers come to watch this film. She also recounted the various hardships she had to face while shooting for the film “Lamhaa.” Some of the experiences took a toll on her nerves. She has become more aware about the kind of life the people especially women, have to lead there. With this is a film actor Kunal Kapoor is also breaking his hiatus.
