Anaji and Animation

July 14, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Anaji, the popular figure in the Kannada film circle, had a hard life and he literally curved his way up in life from scratch to become what he is today. He came to Bangalore from Davanagere in search of a life and struggled valiantly before he kissed success.
Anaji’s latest project involves a 3D Animation flick about the great warrior of Indian history Tippu Sultan, who hails from the region of Karnataka. As per historical records, he died fighting the British in the year 1799 AD. Anaji has meanwhile got in touch with director Guruprasad, who has also made an animation film in Kannada. Anaji is working out the plans for his own project.
The producer says that the movie would have an estimate of around Rs 8 crore, he was once so poor that he didn’t even have 8 bucks, let alone a few crores. He is also checking out the play directed by the legendary Dr Girish Karnad and also at the popular tele-serial ‘Sword of Tippu Sultan’.
Anaji, who isn’t just a producer but also a cameraman and an outdoor unit proprietor, says that he was inspired by the Hollywood film Avataar.
