Ira Dubey ‘Half-Naked’ In “Aisha”

MUMBAI, INDIA (GaeaTimes.com)- Lillete Dubey’s daughter Ira Dubey is ready to set the screen on flames with her upcoming movie “Aisha”. Reportedly, Ira Dubey would be seen in a sultry short and tank top in her new movie which casts Sonam Kapoor in the lead role.

When asked about her character in the movie, Ira Dubey told the media that she plays a role of girl who is flamboyant and wild and hence her outfit reflects the characteristic traits. Ira Dubey’s character Pinki Bose is bold and aggressive as well and she had to work upon her looks to make herself acquainted with the character. Ira Dubey further said that not only she is experimental in her “reel” life but also in her “real” life. She said that she enjoyed the filming of “Aisha” and she jokingly says to everyone that she is “half naked” in the movie. 70 percent of the movie has her wearing short tops. Even there is one scene where she sports a bikini in the beach playing volleyball.

The 26-year-old Ira Dubey has been associated with the theater for a long time. Before she decided to go wild in Aisha she acted in “The President Is Coming” by Rohan Sippy. Ira Dubey has also been a movie critic for Sony Pix’s “Chicks On Flicks”. “Aisha” happens to be a modern day tale which is inspired by Jane Austen’s novel “Emma”. Sonam Kapoor, Arunoday Singh and Abhay Deol plays the lead roles in the movie along with Lisa Haydon and Amrita Puri who are newcomers in the industry. Ira Dubey plays the character of Pinki Bose who is a close friend of “Aisha”.
