“Basic Instinct” Releases August 17

NEW YORK (GaeaTimes.com)- It seems like Ciara is in a hurry to avoid the clash with Katy Perry. Reportedly, the R&B star has announced the official release date of her upcoming album “Basic Instinct“. It was on her social networking profile in Twitter where she had posted a Tweet which says that her new album “Basic Instinct” shall be released on August 17.

Earlier it was said that, “Basic Instinct” would be released on August 24. Ciara in her tweet told her fans that she wants them to listen to the music of “Basic Instinct” much earlier than it was scheduled for release. She also said that she along with her entire crew have worked really hard on it and its no point delaying the release of “Basic Instinct” when they can have it out now.

No matter what Ciara says in her tweet, it is speculated that she wants to avoid the head-on clash with Katy Perry. Katy Perry who is looking forward to her sophomore album “Teenage Dream” which is scheduled to be released on August 24. Its known to one and all how Katy Perry has risen in the popularity charts and has been the most successful singer this summer. As a matter of fact, Katy Perry’s album sales figures would be hard to handle for Ciara.

When asked about “Basic Instinct“, the singer told the media that the album is a different offering for all her fans. Ciara says that “Basic Instinct” is a “selection of genres” and it dotes upon the ingredients of her first single which was a phenomenal hit. She is definite that “Basic Instinct” is going to be a major hit.
