Star-Spangled Red Carpet Premiere Of The Last Airbender At PVR Cinemas

July 9, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Last night, the PVR Cinemas located at Ampa Sky Walk was studded with Kollywood celebrities for the red carpet premiere of The Last Airbender. Actor Parthiban along with his daughter and son, Yuvan Shankar Raja, Karthik Raja and Bhavatharani, Sibiraj, Nakul, Fathima Babu, Katradhu Kalavu fame Krishna, Premji Amaran, Vaibhav, Aravind, Kasthoori, fashion designer Sidney Sladen and many others were present for the occasion.
Chennai has always shared a great affinity with Night Shyammalan as he happens to be a Tamilian settled in United States. By nature, even his previous films that didn’t do well at global box office worked some wonders in Tamil Nadu.
The Last Airbender has been released in English and dubbed in Tamil as Ulaga Nayagan by producer Rama Narayanan of Sri Thenandal Movies. The film features Jackson Rathbone, Dev Patel, and Nicola Peltz in the lead roles.
