MUMBAI, INDIA (GaeaTimes.com)- Noted actor Kamal Hassan is on a high these days and he has more than one reason to feel happy about. His daughter Akshara Hassan is all geared up to make her debut in Bollywood following the footsteps of her sibling Shruti Hassan. The younger daughter of the actor is getting flooded with offers from a number of filmmakers but she is waiting for the right script to sign. As of now, the debutante is going through several scripts and working with filmmaker Rahul Dholakia. Shruti Hassan, the other daughter of Kamal Hassan made her debut in “Luck” where she was pitted against latest Bollywood heartthrob Imran Khan.

Kamal Hassan is obviously very happy about the fact that both her daughters are following in his foots steps into the glamor world. He is also happy about the fact that he has completed his golden jubilee in the film industry. Recently, a retrospective of his various films were held by the Directorate of Film Festivals. It was held at Delhi’s Siri Fort auditorium. Several hit films of the actor including the critically acclaimed “Hey Ram” and “Nayakan” were shown there.

Kamal Hassan has won a number of coveted awards including the National Award in his illustrious career. However, he thinks his best is yet to come. He added another feather to his cap when he was felicitated by Ambika Soni, the Information and Broadcasting Minister for the mark he has made in Indian cinema over the years. As of now, he is busy working in a film that also stars Madhavan and Trishna.
