NEW YORK (GaeaTimes.com)- HBO aired their special documentary on Lily Dale which is said to be the town where people talk to the dead. “No One Dies In Lily Dale” happens to be a creation of Emmy Award Winner and Oscar nominee Director Steven Cantor who has previously delivered some of the jewels of documentary under HBO production.
Lily Dale is a small town which is located south of Buffalo in New York and happens to be the world’s largest center for spiritual study and practice. As a matter of fact, 40 spiritualists in Lily Dale practice their “mystical mediumship” which helps people to converse with their loved one’s who are already dead. For over several years, the town of Lily Dale has been an object of attraction for tourists who comes from different corners of the world to be a witness to the idyllic community which claims to be close to the departed souls. No matter who you are or what you do, once in Lily Dale one can be assured that their unsolved questions shall be answered. However, its not always that you get what you want. Sometimes Lily Dale leaves the visitor empty handed which makes him depressed and disappointed. Whatever be the outcome of the visit, every single visitor leaves Lily Dale with their own unique story that is different from all others.
“No One Dies In Lily Dale” follows a similar narrative pattern as that of Steven Cantor’s earlier creations like “Devils Playground” and “Family Bonds”. “No One Dies In Lily Dale” is a fine instance of the director’s honest work and bears a stamp of his profound intellect.
