Mena Suvari Marries Again

VATICAN CITY (GaeaTimes.com)- Mena Suvari got married in a private ceremony held at a Vatican City chapel with concert producer Simone Sestito. Reportedly, Mena Suvari and Simone Sestito have been dating each other for three years and finally decided to enter the wedlock in the presence of the groom’s family members on Saturday.

Mena Suvari was previously married to cinematographer Robert Brinkmann who was 18 years older to the actress. Both were married for six years before they signed the divorce papers in 2005. Quite evidently, this marriage means a lot to Mena Suvari who is considering herself to be lucky for the second time. Mena Suvari’s new husband Simone Sestito is seemingly a family man who preferred to keep the marriage a secret affair and hence decided to get married in a chapel. They purposely chose Vatican City as the venue for their marriage owing to the fact that many members of the groom’s family stay in Rome. The couple wanted their marriage to be held away from the city and hence chose a private chapel in Vatican City. Mena Suvari had her wedding gown specially designed so as to cover her body tattoos. She told the media that this was necessary because there were two nuns in the groom’s family who would consider the tattoos to be an offense.

Mena Suvari met Simone Sestito in the year of 2007 at the Toronto Film Festival. Following that Mena Suvari and the concert producer were drawn close to each other and finally decided to tie the knot. Mena Suvari said that she always felt that there was a “connection” between them from the very first day.
