Manager: Levi Johnston, Bristol Palin more cordial
JUNEAU, Alaska — There may be a thawing in relations between exes Bristol Palin and Levi Johnston.
Johnston’s manager, Tank Jones, says the two are spending more time together for their son’s sake. But Jones says they’re not back together.
The couple became a public face for teenage pregnancy amid Sarah Palin’s 2008 run for vice president. Bristol Palin is the eldest daughter of the former Alaska governor.
The teen couple broke up after son Tripp’s birth in December 2008, and the two have been to court over child support.
Jones says the two didn’t speak for a while but have become more cordial.
Palin family attorney Thomas Van Flein says they recognized a “joint interest” in raising their son in a positive environment and are taking steps to co-parent in a way that serves his best interests.
