June 15, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): This is your one stop shop for the latest happenings in tinsel town. The buzz, the release plans, the launches, the works. Yes, this is serious business and we will bring the most reliable information week after week. Have a dekko.

After waiting for months, it can finally be declared that ‘Lamhaa’ is arriving for real. There were speculations galore whether this Sanjay Dutt - Bipasha Basu starrer would ever see the light of the day due to thefinancial issues faced by the makers. However, the kick start in the film’s promotion means that the 16th July deadline for the theatrical release would pretty much be adhered to.

Release date of ‘Kajraare’ has been shifted. This Himesh Reshammiya film was earlier supposed to clash with the Ajay Devgan and Emraan Hashmi starrer ‘Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai’ on 30th July. However, it will now release on 6th August, the day when Abhay Deol and Sonam Kapoor’s ‘Aisha’ is slated to arrive.

A few days back, Emraan Hashmi and the rest of the crew of ‘Crook: It’s Good to be Bad’ were asked to leave Australia even though the shooting was yet to be completed. Now the script is being reworked upon and the remaining scenes would be shot in India.

Aruna Shields, who was Vivek Oberoi’s leading lady in ‘Prince’ and the face of the chartbuster track ‘Tere Liye’, would be seen in a small time film ‘Mr Singh Mrs Mehta’. Do we see yet another ‘Main Aurr Mrs. Khanna’ happening here?

After a rather dull 2009 with only ‘Aladin’ to their credit, composers Vishal and Shekhar will strike big in 2010 with ‘Anjaana Anjaani’, ‘I Hate Luv Stories’, ‘Tees Maar Khan’ and ‘Ra 1′. This would be followed by ‘Dostana 2′ and an animated flick ‘Arjun’ in 2011.

With ‘Agent Vinod’ going to floors, Kareena Kapoor has a few hectic months ahead. She has an enviable line up of films in the form of ‘Stepmom remake’ and ‘Golmaal 3′ followed by ‘Ra. One’, ‘Agent Vinod’ and ‘Heroine’. Add to that her pending ‘Milenge Milenge’ which makes it to six films over the next year and a half.
