Akhils Karuppar Nagaram Takes Off

June 10, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Actor Akhil is in the seventh heaven! He is feeling great about being a part of the musical album shot for ‘Tamizh Semmozhi Maanadu’. Academy award winner A.R. Rahman has scored music for this song with Gowtham Menon picturing the song.
Apart from this, the actor has more reasons to rejoice as he has signed a film after nearly a year. His performance was appreciated in his previous film ‘Valmiki’ despite it not doing too well at the box office.
The actor has now signed to play lead role in ‘Karuppar Nagaram’, which is directed by Nataraj Gopi. Although, nothing has been revealed about the film’s plot yet, it is expected to be a unique thriller laced with romance and action. The film is produced by R. Sivakumar and M. Bala Subramaniam under the banner of Four Brothers Screen. Deva is scoring music to the lyrics of Kabilan while L.K. Keerthi is handling the camera.
