The 4th collaboration is ‘Shutter Island‘ a gritty war drama that released few months back and won rave reviews from the film critics. Now the film has been released in Blu ray Version for those who want to enjoy watching it several times. The Blu Ray disc has been released in the market by Paramount Home Entertainment.

The Blu Ray version of ‘Shutter Island‘ is now available for $39.98. Paramount Home Entertainment is famous for HD conversions and in this case they have done a decent job as well. The 1080p AVC video looks great on LCD TVs and the dark scenes also look breathtaking. The DTS MA 5.1 track of the Blu Ray disc is a treat for the audiophiles. The background track has been reproduced accurately in the disc version. However, the disc skimps on extra contents. It does not even offer you a trailer.

However, the Blu Ray disc of the film ‘Shutter Island‘ does have a typical crew and cast interview. It also has author Dennis Lehane’s interview. It is also shot in HD format and is idea for those who have read the novel and want to see how much of it has been taken into film adaptation.
