NEW YORK (GaeaTimes.com)- “Persons Unknown” which happens to be the new summer thriller of NBC aired its premiere episode on June 7. “Persons Unknown” is the first directorial attempt for small screen by Christopher McQuarrie who have directed Hollywood movies like “The Usual Suspects”.

Hyped as a seat of the edge summer thriller which Christopher McQuarrie is so good at delivering “Persons Unknown” puts up a creepy plot. It has seven characters in the story who come together in an unknown hotel of a remote valley where their own mysteries of life are solved. “Persons Unknown” begins with a sudden shock where all the characters wake up in their hotel room and suspects that they have been abducted. They try hard but they couldn’t seem to find any clue or any leftover sign. To make matters worse, they are being watched so that no one dares to escape the city. “Persons Unknown” and it’s plot setting recalls AMC’s “The Prisoner” by the environ and the setting of the plot.

Although the very first episode has been receiving rave reviews all over, its likely that the director is setting the stage right for all upcoming events. As a matter of fact Christopher McQuarrie follows this very technique in his movies where he prepares the ground for the twists in his story that comes as a shock and a surprise to one all. On the same note, “Persons Unknown” is speculated to witness sharp turns and twists which might add to the mystifying element that is prevalent throughout the story. “Persons Unknown” being a mini series shall have a total of 13 episodes.
